It is important to do this without closing the game. After completing valni's tower you must enter any battle (tower is fine) and during battle preparation you will recieve a meesage that says ismaire is in your team, then proceed to open her status menu. Thank god I saved state at the start of last floor, I'll try again to see if it pops. I recruited Ismaire but the achievement didnt pop up when looking at her info.
